Meet a Lowcountry Dog: Kaya Bell

Kaya is a 3 1/2 year old pit bull mix.  Shes got polka dotted skin, white fur, and two brindle patches (a balloon shaped one on her back and a “black eye”).  I found her in Durham, NC when she was just a little pup.  She was beaten up, covered in fleas, and soaking wet from the storm, but her ears were up and her tail was wagging.  She jumped in my car and licked my face and we’ve been together ever since.

She is very smart and knows lots of tricks like sit, stay, shake, other paw, down, bow, spin (jumps and does a 360), get back, ball, high five, and we are working on saying “i love you”.  She loves to snuggle, play soccer, go to the beach, and chase squirrels.
