Meet a Lowcountry Dog: Remley Sue Carie

South Carolina makes a statement with the Boykin Spaniel as their state dog, part crazy, full of excitement and ready for anything.  Remley is a 1 year old Boykin Spaniel who is every bit of fun, intelligence and diva-tude (attitude of a diva)!  To call her a dog is quite frankly wrong because she considers herself quite human.

She loves to run as much as is humanly possible (at least according to her mother which is about 6 miles a day). In her short life she has already run her first official 5K for Waves and Wishes supporting Make a Wish Foundation.  She can’t turn down running for a good cause!  Her hobbies include modeling, collecting toys, walking on the beach, and playing tennis…the lowcountry sport. In her free time she chooses to be pampered with belly rubs but don’t mistake her for being fru-fru because she likes to hang with the big dogs who can handle her feisty nature.

She loves being around friends and family stealing their hearts in exchange for her kisses.  To say the least, South Carolina was right on the mark when choosing the Boykin Spaniel as their dog…fun, friendly, laid back and always up for a good time. Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina at least in Remley’s world!
