Looking for an alternative to the Cooper River Bridge Run?  Pet Helpers has the answer!  Once again, the Edgewater Bridge Run will be held on the same day as the big Bridge Run, March 27, and is sure to provide a fun, and a lot less athletic, alternative.

This fun run is hosted by Famous Joe’s of West Ashley and involves running for about 1/10 of a mile and then enjoying lots of food, drink, and live music!  Of course your canine is invited too.

Festivities start at 3:00 PM on March 27.  Registration is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Not only does your registration fee support Pet Helpers, but it gets you a t-shirt, live music, food, and beer. No athletic prowess required.

Join the crowd at Famous Joe’s, 1662 Savannah Highway, for a fun and less strenuous alternative to the Cooper River Bridge Run!  For more info, contact Famous Joe’s at 852-9378 or 345-6261.

The mission of Pet Helpers Adoption Center and Spay/Neuter Clinic is to end the euthanasia of all adoptable cats and dogs in the Lowcountry.  Pet Helpers works to accomplish this goal by keeping all animals until adopted, providing low cost spay/neuter surgeries, offering humane education programs, pursuing animal cruelty prosecution, and initiating animal welfare legislation.
